Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the study of regularities of formation of the promising areas for the extraction of hydrocarbon gases within coal basins. In this learned work the features of gas distribution in coal rock mass are examined and the influences of tectonic faults, fracture zones, migration and petrographic composition are determined. It was investigated the influence of coal basins degassing technology in gas redistribution in rock mass of coal basin. In the process of conducted researches, STAGD methods are improved and regularities of formation of the promising areas of coal basins are determined, depending on the technology of extraction of hydrocarbon gases. Of particular note is the analysis of distribution of STAGR indicators within the areas under investigation and mining allotments of coal mines, and determination of their connection with geological structure. Based on the results of researches, recommendations for use of STAGR techniques to identify promising areas of hydrocarbon gases are given, depending on the technology of extraction of hydrocarbon gases.
