Essay

The thesis is devoted to the experimental study of features of the heat capacity of carbon nanotubes and fullerite, as pure and doped by gas impurities, which determined by quantum and size effects. It has been experimentally investigated for the first time the heat capacity of one-dimensional chains of xenon and nitrogen, adsorbed in the grooves of bundles of single-walled carbon nanotubes. It was found for the first time the isotopic effect in the heat capacities of interstitial solid solution of methane and deuteromethane in the fullerite C60.
