Essay

The thesis is devoted to the identification of the features of metastable phases and the establishment of their kinetic characteristics in a weak solution of solid helium at low temperatures. It is shown that the metastable liquid inclusions formed in the fast-grown crystals of a weak solution 3He in 4He, which transferred to the solid disordered state. The phase diagram hysteresis of weak solid solutions 3He in 4He was found. It was established that the both homogeneous and heterogeneous nucleation mechanisms is realized in solid 4He, but in a weak solid solution 3He in 4He the mode of heterogeneous nucleation dominates.
