Essay

The ground state structure of the one-dimensional electron system on a disordered host-matrix is retrieved. It is shown that the ground state structure is disordered and is equivalent to random alternate ferromagnetic domains. The dependence of these domains mean size on disorder parameter is given analytically for the first time. The stability of Wigner crystal electrons on the surface of liquid helium has been studied. It is shown that the evaporation of electrons from Wigner crystal surface causes its destruction in fields which are close to critical.
