Essay

A kinetic Boltzmann equation in the case of the most known model of hard spheres is investigated. Maxwellian of special type that correspond to nonuniform unsteady flows and describe acceleration and packing of a gas in a certain direction are studied. An approximate description of the interaction between two such flows in the form of a bimodal distribution with different coefficient functions is obtained for the hard-sphere model if both temperatures are sufficiently small.
