Kupar D. Slovak-Russian bilateral relations (1993-2014)

This thesis presents a study based on a systematic approach which deals with the proсess of formation and development of Slovak-Russian bilateral cooperation. The author reveals the conceptual framework of foreign policy strategy of the Russian Federation towards Central Europe at the end of the 20h – the beginning of the 21st centuries. A special attention is paid to the main stages of bilateral Slovak-Russian relations in foreign trade and economic sphere. Considering the impact of the energy legislation of the European Union the author analyzes the structure and the basic mechanisms of cooperation between the Slovak Republic and the Russian Federation in the energy sector.
