This thesis is devoted to the further development of the theory of design of the high-voltage shapers, their improvement by applying new schematics and determine the optimal modes of operation of the shapers. Requirements for the electrical parameters of the impulses of high-voltage shapers for a more effective influence of the electric discharge on sulfur dioxide are formulated. The synthesis of high-voltage shaper scheme is made by synthesizing algorithm with variable structure based on graph of state changes. The analysis of electromagnetic processes in the shaper is made. Developed the new compensation method of the residual voltage on the primary capacitive storage, which is caused by unequal storage capacity in the transfer of energy from one drive to another, this method increases the voltage storage capacitor if you decrease its capacitance and increase accumulated them energy. The mathematical model of generating the high-voltage pulse process, taking into account the influence of the trajectory of current interruption by the interrupter, parameters of the output circuit elements and the load on the output voltage of the high voltage shapers is developed. Experimental results during the implementation of the experimental model showed the effectiveness of the developed high-voltage shaper. So, with increasing field strength in the discharge gap of up to 23 kV/sm the increase of the degree of sulfur dioxide neutralization to 96% was observed.
