Essay

The dissertation is devoted to solving an original and actual applied problem of improving the reliability of high pressure pipelines of marine low speed diesel engine fuel system. The relevance of the study is determined largely by the accident rate in the shipping industry, which remains high mainly due to the main low speed diesel engines damage. Among the five less reliable low speed engine components a particular attention is drawn by the fuel equipment. This is due to the breakage of high pressure fuel pipelines, which, as rule, occurs in the transverse plane and accompanied by an extreme vibration.
