Essay

In the dissertation, the results of complex investigation of the effects of plasmon resonance interactions in gold nanostructures: continuous, island, porous films; gold nanoparticles in PTFE matrix; SnO2 and SnS2 nanocomposites obtained by a modulation polarimetry method are presented. Using by the spectral dependencies of the polarization difference and the angle of isotropic reflection, different types of surface plasmon resonance as polariton and localized nature can be detected and classified for nanosized films based on gold. This characterization method allows obtaining optical and resonant parameters, plasma frequency of nanofilms in dependence on their surface morphology and structure. Spectra of angle of isotropic reflection demonstrate transfer from classical to topological size effects. A spatial dispersion is detected in porous gold films. For the first time the excitations of localized surface plasmons and surface plasmon-polaritons in SnS2 films with thickness of 50 nm were detected.
