Phase equilibria of the Al-Ti-Pd and Al-Ti-Pt systems were investigated by methods of physico-chemical analysis in the compositional range between 0 and 50 at.% Pn (Pn-Pd,Pt) at a wide range of temperatures. The solidus and the liquidus projections, the melting diagrams and the corresponding reaction schemes as well as isothermal sections at 1100 С for both systems and at 930 С for the Al-Ti-Pd system were constructed for the very first time. The existence of the tau1, tau2 and tau3 known from literature were confirmed for both Al-Ti-Pd and Al-Ti-Pt systems. In the Pt-low region of the Al-Ti-Pt system the existence of eight ternary compounds tau4, tau5, tau6, tau7, tau8, tau9, tau10 та tau11 were revealed for the first time. The crystal structures of the tau4, tau5 were tau6 were determined by a combination of the crystal structure solution methods. A comparative analysis of own experimental data and those from literature was carried out in order to define peculiarities of the phase formation in the Al-Ti-MVIIIB (MVIIIB = Fe, Co, Ni, Ru, Rh, Os, Ir) systems.
