Essay

The thesis is devoted to the experimental study of mechanisms of the heat transfer in orientationally and conformationally disorederd crystals form by simple cyclic and globular molecules. The effect of site-occupation disorder of bromine atoms replacing chlorine atoms in the molecules of chloro-methanes which leads to strengthening of phonon scattering at low temperatures and an increase in the value of the diffuse mode contribution at higher temperatures was found. It has been detected that the thermal conductivity of the molecular crystals is very dependable on the level of the anisitropy.
