Bas-Yurchyshyn M. Formation and development of regional health insurance markets in Ukraine

The object of study: the processes of development of regional health insurance markets in Ukraine. Objective: deepening of the theoretical and methodological foundations and developing of practical recommendations for improving the functioning of regional health insurance markets. Methods: theoretical generalization, comparison, historical and logical, induction and deduction, synthesis and analysis, observation, cluster analysis, econometric, statistical, sociological research and SWOT analysis, theoretical and practical simulation, graphical, strategic programming and structural-functional. Novelty: for the first time justified conceptual bases of development of regional health insurance markets based on the harmonization of interests and management solutions participants in the process of providing (receiving) and regulating of health insurance services at the regional and local levels, improvement of institutional organization of its markets and functioning mechanism for mandatory health insurance and also optimizing of financial and economic relations in this field, improved terminological apparatus of research, including interpretation of notion of regional health insurance markets as a systems of interaction of localized in the region of insurance entities, approach to forming of organizational and institutional ensuring and functioning of mandatory health insurance, theoretical and methodological approaches to the research of regional health insurance markets. Scope of application: in the practical activities of the Department of Economic Policy of Lviv Regional State Administration, Novovolynsk branch of Volodymyr-Volyn RSTI MD SFS in Volyn region and Regional Branch of the National Institute for Strategic Studies in Lviv in the developing of proposals for the strategic priorities of RHIM development, in the learning process of Zaporizhya Institute of Economics and Information Technologies in teaching of subjects "Regional Economics", "Public policies of the European Union", "Marketing" and Lviv Institute of Management.
