Dniprovska A. Diagnosis of the musculoskeletal system functional disorders in patients with Scheuermann's disease and their correction by means of kinesiotherapy

It was found that the Scheuermann's disease clinical course at period of relative remission characterized by widespread intermittent (in the classical form) and local constant pain (if atypical form) of moderate intensity. It was revealed moderate increase of levels disability and one pain and anxiety symptoms, decrease mobility of the spine, its thoracic and lumbar, limitation of the hip joints motion, functional insufficiency of muscles of the trunk and lower extremities, more severe in the extensor muscles, changes of the spine sagittal contour with thoracic hyperkyphosis (in the classical form) and the lumbar lordosis flattening. It was developed new kinesiotherapy programs aimed pathogenesis physiotherapy to correct muscle imbalance at different the spine sagittal contour. This programs significant reduce the frequency of vertebral pain occurrence and intensity, disability index, increase range of motion of the spine, hip joints, improve the functional properties of muscles and functionality locomotor system.
