Essay

The comparative analysis of approaches to the separation of the phases and Neogene volcanic complexes in Pannonia and Transcarpathia was done. Also the comparison of absolute dating of Vygorlat-Guta ridge volcanic rocks by using K-Ar method was represented. Four stages of the Transcarpathian deep fault evolution was described as well as and the existence of dextral shear displacements on late-collision stage of its development was identified. It was argued that dextral shift within the Transcarpathian deep fault led to the formation of T-structures within the Transcarpathian depression which explains the particular location of the Vygorlat-Guta volcanic centers. The reconstruction of the latest tectonophysical stress fields in the central segment of the Transcarpathian deep fault was done. It was determined that the kinematic and dynamic conditions of the young fissures formation within the suture zone of the Transcarpathian deep fault could be inherited from the Neogene movements in the same direction. The arguments for new kinematic and dynamic scheme of Neogene tectonic and magmatic activation of Transcarpathia were found.
