Essay

The dissertation is a complex study of the Fe-multiwall carbon nanotubes (CNTs), Cu-CNTs, Cu-Ti-CNTs and Fe-Cu-CNTs nanocomposites (NCMs) synthesized by the mechanochemical activation in a high energy ball mill at different modes, the regularities of interconnection of the sturucture and physical features of NCMs obtained have been established. A number of continous supersaturated metastable interstitial solid solutions (Fe,Cu) has been revealed in the NCMs fabricated from the Fe and Cu powders. The essential effect of the CNTs on the structure and physical properties of NCMs obtained has been shown.
