Essay

The thesis deals with the creation of the automated system of quantitative interpretation of potential fields data and its practical approbation on the example of study of basic geological structures of the territory of Ukraine, as well as some structures near and far abroad. As a result were built software systems SpaceMap and Isohypse that allows to perform automated entry the images of geological and geophysical maps in PC and get them in numerical form. The magnetic Direct problem has been solved for all the components of the magnetic field for anisotropic monoclines and layered bodies, subject to the laws established by V. N. Zavoiskii. An automated system was used to construct three-dimensional density model of the crust and upper mantle of the Ingul megablock of the Ukrainian shield, three-dimensional density and magnetic models of the lithosphere of the Central part of the Karelian craton, and density models of sedimentary strata Turcianska basin (Western Carpathians). The Strakhov function, which is more contrasting than magnetic field, was used for the interpretation of magnetic anomalies of the Krivoy Rog structure.
