Essay

The thesis is devoted to increasing efficiency of ethanol reciprocating engines by improving the processes and parameters occurring in the thermochemical heat utilization of exhaust gases. For reciprocating engines with a cylinder volume of 250...450 cm3, when using thermochemical heat utilization of exhaust gases reduced fuel consumption by 1,2...5,4 % are defined. Rational temperature difference at the inlet of a heat recovery device that is 20...160 К. The effect of reducing the conversion temperature of 25…100 К by using catalyst are developed.
