Object of study: the development of the regional banking market. The aim of the thesis is the development of theoretical positions and practical recommendations for the development of regional banking market. Methods: systems analysis, logic synthesis, synthesis, comparison, economic-statistical methods, modeling, spreadsheet and graphical methods, target-oriented. Results: The approaches to stimulate interregional interactions based cluster formation involving banking institutions that provide cooperation at the interregional and regional levels. Improved: concept of "regional market of banking services"; classification of regional banking markets; impacts on the development of regional markets for banking services; methodical approach to the analysis and evaluation of the development of regional markets for banking services; approaches to the implementation of the state regional policy and regional development of the regional banking market. We got further development: defining the functions of the regional banking market; improvement of territorial organization of regional banking markets in terms of placing parent companies of banking institutions in the poles of growth.
