Essay

Phonon contribution to the heat capacity of indium selenide crystal intercalated with nickel. The appearance mechanisms of van Hove singularities in ordered systems, Ioffe-Regel crossover and bozon peaks in disordered systems are found to be close, for the first time. The elastic stability conditions of bcc crystal with van der Waals interatomic interaction are carried out. The impurity contribution into the low-temperature thermodynamics of fullerite C60 intercalated xenon is analitically evaluated for the first time. The analytical expressions for surface-projected densities and the attenuation parameters for the amplitudes of shear surface waves polarized in horizontal plane of the cubic crystals are found.
