Talimonova N. Technological assurance for manufacture of banknote prints banknote

The dissertation developed a comprehensive technological process of ensuring the quality of banknote prints, which was made by offset method of printing. The correlation between structural and color characteristics of paper and inks, technological modes and parameters of the original was taken in to account. This technological process is based on the conceptual models and algorithms, that have been developed (a model describing the fixing of the ink layer, the algorithm which determines the quantitative characteristics of paper transparency, the algorithm and the model which define color differences on the back of the prints, the structurally-logic scheme which determines the indicators of the quality of the prints). The complex technological process allows to predict the optical characteristics of the prints and their back according to the results of the input control and to make targeted management of these characteristics by varying the input parameters. Accounting for the ink penetration on the back of prints will allow to define reasonable limit values of optical parameters of total pollution and of decrepitude of banknotes during the adjusting of the screening equipment. This will avoid the expunging suitable banknotes from circulation in connection with the incorrect assessment of their condition as worn.
