Volkivskyi I. Morphological Characteristics of Organs of Rabitts Fed with Mixed Fodder with Different Chromium Content

In the thesis on the basis of comprehensive studies (clinical and anatomical, zootechnical, histological, morphometric, statistical) the structural organization of lymph nodes, spleen, myocardium, lungs, liver, kidneys, pancreas, the longest back muscle of young rabbits of a high-performance hybrid Hyplus of the meat direction of productivity on condition of different Chromium content in mixed fodders was revealed, making it possible to evaluate the effect of Chromium compounds on animal body objectively. It was found out that feeding of young rabbits in experimental groups with mixed fodder with different Chromium content significantly influences the performance level of their body weight, compared with the animals in the control group: in the second experimental group (0,4 mg Cr/kg of mixed fodder) promotes the growth (p<0.05) by 1,8 %; in the third group (0,8 mg Cr/kg of mixed fodder) - by 2,7 % (p<0,01); in the fourth group (1,4 mg Cr/kg of mixed fodder) - decrease (p<0.05) at 1, 8 %. Based on hematology research the data were obtained concerning the influence of Chromium on morphological and biochemical composition of blood. It was found that feeding rabbits with mixed fodder with different Chromium content had no negative effect on the microstructure, absolute and relative values of morphometric parameters of the organs studied. That made it possible to supplement and expand the understanding of the role of Chromium in the diet of young rabbits under intensive cultivation methods and to recommend the use of mixed fodder containing 2,0 mg Chromium / kg of mixed fodder.
