Thе thesis is devoted to generalization of the lithological-stratigraphic studies data of the Mountainous Crimea Mesozoic suites’ stratotypes and strata’ reference sections and to elaboration of strategy for their conservation. For the first time retrospective analysis of the Mountainous Crimea Mesozoic suites’ stratotypes and strata’ reference sections scrutiny has been conducted. Problematic issues and contradictions in existing stratigraphical schemes of the Mountainous Crimea Mesozoic deposits (2006, 2008 and 2013) have been identified and recommendations on their elimination have been created. It is established that in the Mountainous Crimea Mesozoic deposits 81 stratons are highlighted: 1 series, 43 suites and 37 strata. The number of standard sections installed in the area is 77. The Mountainous Crimea Mesozoic suites’ stratotypes and strata’ reference sections lithological-stratigraphic studies data are generalized, their passportization and cataloguing have been done. An inventory and the current state assessment of the studied objects have been made. With the aim of applying relevant legal levers of objects’ protection the assignment of the Mountainous Crimea Mesozoic suites’ stratotypes and strata’ reference sections to geoheritage is substantiated. Typology of objects and their ranking have been conducted; the estimation of uniqueness and the integrity degree of the standard sections have been done; the spatial structure of the objects has been clarified. The strategy for the stratotypes conservation in the Museum has been developed. For the first time regional lithological and paleontological fund of the Mountainous Crimea Mesozoic stratotypes and the reference sections is formed. The authorial database and interactive map of the Mountainous Crimea Mesozoic stratotypes and the reference sections is created.
