Shatsylo E. Patomorphological changes in hens at the egg drop syndrome

In the thesis results of complex studying of the egg drop syndrome in hens with application of epidemiological, clinical, dissectional, histological and statistical methods of researches are presented. It is positioned that economic losses owing to this disease are mainly caused by decrease in efficiency of a sick birds and augmentation of expenses of a forage at reception of a unit of production. Was make more accurate gross changes in hens at the egg drop syndrome. It is shown that such changes in the ovarium and oviduct depend on degree of a lesion of generative organs. In 12.8 % of hens comes to light serous catarrh of the small intestine. It is shown that specific for egg drop syndrome microscopic changes in ovaries of hens there is a presence in nuclei of many stromal cells, cells if yellow bodies and an epithelium of follicles of different stages basophilic and eosinophilic inclusion-bodies. Some nuclei thus become completely eosinophilic. It is shown that for pathomorphological diagnosis statement on a egg drop syndrome in hens the presence in ovary epithelial cells, epithelial cells of oviduct, small intestine and kidney tubules intranuclear basophilic and eosinophilic inclusion-bodies is sufficient. On the basis of the received results criteria pathomorphological diagnostics of the egg drop syndrome are offered and the full algorithm of diagnostics of this illness is developed. As the egg drop syndrome virus propagates mainly in epithelial cells of ovarium, oviduct, small intestine and kidney tubules, this virus offered to fall to epitheliotrope viruses.
