This research focuses on the biological, ecological, biochemical and morphological characteristics of the species of the genus Cynoxylon Raf.: C. capitata Nakai., C. florida Raf., C. japonica Nakai in conditions of introduction in Forest-Steppe of Ukraine, assessed the degree of adaptation, features of reproduction, use in landscaping prospects. The position in the system of the species of genus Cynoxylon were described, natural habitats and history of introduction of species in Ukraine were analyzed.
