Matyovka T. Formation and development of clusters in primary spheres of regional economy

The object of study is the formation and development of clusters in the priority areas of the regional economy. Objective: to study scientific and theoretical, methodological and applied principles of formation and development of clusters in the priority sectors of the regional economy in terms of increased competition in the global economy. Methods: A systematic analysis, statistical, economic-statistical, computing the dynamics of growth, expert opinion. Results: it has been proven that promising directions of clustering of regional economy in the context of strategic guidelines shall focus upon strengthening of inter-economic cooperation and agricultural and timber industry integration as well as in other spheres of regional economy. A few ways to improve the regulation of clusters’ formation processes in terms of natural and economic areas of Zakrpattia Oblast have been suggested.
