Putrus D. Ecological assessment of the flora and vegetation of different ages deposits Donetsk and Lugansk regions of Ukraine.

The object is the flora and vegetation of fallow lands in Donetsk and Lugansk regions of Ukraine. The aim is the ecological assessment and determination of regularities of vegetation dynamics in lands, which are put out of intensive agricultural use within Donetsk and Lugansk regions of Ukraine. The methods are field stationary and semistationary, route, physicochemical, chemical analytical, microbiological, and statistical. The vegetation has been classified on the basis of dominance and the defined syntaxa have been characterized for 10 revegetated areas. Ecomorphic analysis of the plant associations at different stages of succession has been performed. The autogenesis and reconstruction have been found out as the causes of natural revegetation of the antropogenically disturbed lands after stoppage of the farm operations. Prognostic qualitative indices of the vegetation changes in the fallow lands have been determined. The regularities of succession changes in floristic composition and processes of the lands restoration have been revealed. The scope of application is monitoring, and the restoration of fallow lands.
