Vynokurov D. Vegetation of the Ingul River valley: syntaxonomy, dynamics, conservation

The thesis presents results of a comprehensive research of vegetation of the Ingul River valley, its syntaxonomical variety, dynamics and conservation. A classification scheme of the vegetation was compiled, which incorporates 91 associations, 44 alliances, 28 orders and 20 classes. The research has established the leading factors of the syntaxons' territorial and ecological differentiation. The main tendencies of the natural and anthropogenic changes were established. It was found that 98 species have protection status, as well as 21 associations and 14 habitat types. Recomendations regarding conservation status of the Ingul River valley were proposed.
