Nizdran O. Social Capital as a Factor of Maintaining Psychological Health of the Persons with Low Economic Status

This thesis implements the theoretical analysis of researches in problems of psychological health and social capital of the person in conditions of social and economic inequality. The model of the influence of social capital on the psychological health of such persons was constructed, according to which: individual values influence the inclusion into the interaction with others; trust accomplishes the function of maintaining inclusion, and provides the actualization of social capital as a whole; the actualization of trust and certain types of values is a factor of maintaining psychological health; accessibility to the resources of a social network, together with the actualization of values and trust, defines the probability and the orientation of the direction of psychological health. The influence of social capital resourses activation in focus of maintaining psychological health of persons with low economic status is proved.
