Essay

An important scientific and technical applied problem to develop a new information technology of personal fine motor control of the affected hand to improve the process of speech restoration in stroke patients is solved in the thesis. The basis of the technology is an improved method of motor speech rehabilitation due to forming afferentation from hand muscles and fingers contractions of the affected hand of the patient, expended range of movements to be trained, methods and programs of movement training which allow to activate additional recourse to restore speech.The method of forming and adjusting of personal course for fine motor hand training provides information and consulting support to form such medical personal card, decision criteria and rules of personal course of control actions are being the basis of the method. The software implementation of the method in the form of reduced expert system is described. The information technology improves the function of speech up to 32,5 % (p < 0,01) as compared with the baseline rehabilitation of stroke patients with hemiparesis and motor or motor-sensory aphasia.
