Essay

Subject of investigation: technological process and equipment for manufacture of abrasive disks with straight section for manual grinding machines. Purpose: reduction of vibrations in mechanical processing up to level of requirements for vibration characteristics of manual grinding machines, by increasing geometrical accuracy of manufacturing abrasive disks. Methods of investigation: theoretical definition of common factors for forming accuracies in geometric shape of abrasive disks and their relation with vibrations of manual grinding machines are based on main provisions of accuracy theory for mechanical processing, theoretical mechanics, theory of probability and mathematical statistics; mathematical models were developed with visualization in package "VisSim". Theoretical and practical results: technology for manufacture of abrasive disks with straight section that, due to increasing accuracy of their geometric parameters, ensures compliance with vibration characteristics requirements for manual grinding machines, was developed; geometric parameters of mold, which were necessary to achieve required accuracy of manufacturing abrasive disks, were proven in theory. Novelty: for the first time, the common factors for forming accuracies in geometric shape of abrasive disks with straight section, when they are pressed, was defined; relation between values of accuracies in geometric shape of abrasive disks with straight section, decentration of their mass and vibrations of manual grinding machines was determined; for the first time, using simulation, it is defined that, when operation with abrasive disks of straight section, normalized imbalance of abrasive disks does not ensure compliance with requirements of vibration characteristics for manual grinding machines; rules, obtained analytically, for distribution of deviations from accuracy of geometric shape of abrasive disks; for the first time, mathematical models of dynamic processes in system "Abrasive disks - Manual grinding machine - Operator", which were verified by experimental results, were developed. Degree of results implementation: the results of the thesis are implemented at research, engineering and production complex "Energostal" (Dergachi town, Kharkiv region), as well as in design works of SE "UkrRTC "Energostal", in particular, in project "Construction of metallurgical process for hot-rolled coil stock at "Krasnyi Sulin iron & steel works". Application range: metallurgical and machine-building industry and other industries.
