Demtsyura Y. Feed efficiency of alfalfa-grass swards for different methods of seeding and fertilizer in the Forest-Steppe Right-Bank

The object of research is the formation of forage productivity of alfalfa-cereal grass stands with different species composition depending on the method of sowing and mineral fertilizers when used for green fodder. The purpose is scientific substantiation and increase of forage productivity of sown alfalfa-cereal grass stands through selection of the species composition, method of sowing and rates of fertilization under conditions of the right-bank Forest-Steppe. The methods are field, visual, quantitative, laboratory, dispersion, correlation-regression; comparative-calculative. The thesis describes the technology of growing mixtures of alfalfa and cereal grasses under the conditions of the right-bank Forest-Steppe, which provide output of full value feeds: 7.08-7.56 t/ha of dry matter, 5.94-6.01 t/ha of feed units and 0.943-1.058 t/ha of digestible protein under their low cost.
