Essay

Thesis is devoted to strengthening the array under the facilities, where they play the role of the foundations, which are composed of soft rock or underlying layers to structurally unstable soils subject to dynamic influences. Physical and mechanical properties of soft rocks and structurally unstable soils under static and dynamic loads were theoretically and experimentally investigated. The methods of forming compliant anti-vibration arrays as the bases of structures, providing strength, stability and durability under static and dynamic loads were considered (proposed). The most efficient and reliable methods for sealing the array under the sole structures composed of durable soil and the small thickness of the underlying layer of structurally unstable soils hydro-explosion and optimum humidity were offered. The ways to strengthen the bases of weak rocks and structurally unstable underlying layers by increasing the size of the sole construction were recommended.
