Essay

The actual scientific task of construction and implementation of mathematical models of pit similar defects by cellular automata on metal surfaces, which is important in technical diagnostics materials and structures problems to increase the efficiency of reproduction of the surface corrosion process was solved in the thesis. The method of predicting the growth rate of pit similar defects is improved, which, unlike existing ones, makes it possible to take into account the probability of defect transition into the repassivation state.
