Essay

Eigenfrequency of the domain wall free oscillations at the pinning potential and the effective friction are determined as functions of the curvature and domain wall width. Phase diagrams of equilibrium magnetization states and spinwave dispersion laws are obtained for magnetic helix nanowire. Equations of motion for domain wall in magnetic helix are obtained in terms of collective variebles. It is shown that the transversal domain walls can be efficiently moved in helix wires relying on the Rashba effect. A simple mechanism of controllable switching of magnetic vortex chirality is proposed.
