Essay

A theoretical and empirical analysis of the problem of communicative Internet practices of young people, prone to network addiction, was made. It is established that addiction on social networks affects the choice and process of developing everyday communicative practices of young people in the process of virtual interaction, which is characterised by a closed format, compensatory and manipulative nature, increased aggression through which they realise their desire for self-assertion and self-esteem. Necessary conditions for open and effective communication for them are a sense of safety and psychological security, control of the communication process.
