This research focuses on theoretical and methodical positions and practical recommendations for improving the efficiency of agricultural production in the region by improving its structure. The structural logical model of the structure optimization of agricultural production in the region based on the construction and implementation of the DEA-model of super efficiency is offered.The system of complex estimation of efficiency of agricultural production on the basis of multidimensional ranking - taxonomy index is designed. The agricultural region classification was made by zone specialization and production efficiency criteria economic, social, ecological, techno-organizational.The methodical approach to the analysis of material, labor, environmental, organizational and technical resources of agricultural production based on the elasticity coefficients is offered. The methodical provisions for improving the organizational structure by creating agricultural integration formation, that is one of the levers of providing of the optimal structure of agricultural production are identified.
