Essay

Object of research - the implementation of the 3D printing technology for engineering objects. Objective - analytical identification of engineering objects for the implementation of the 3D printing technology. Research methods - the methods based on the R-functions theory for construction of mathematical and computer models of three-dimensional geometric object (GO), methods of constructing equations GO with translational and cyclical symmetry type in 3D. The normalize property was used to construct the equations of building structures in the study. Theoretical and practical effects - the methods was used for creating the mathematical models of engineering objects for the implementation of the 3D printing technology. The built models are needed for engineering calculations, creation of new prototypes of wares, rapid replacement of threadbare details, creation of machine-building objects and building constructions. Novelty - the creation methods of mathematical and computer models of three-dimensional GO are based on the R-functions theory. GO are based on the using of primitive equations and information about the shape of the cross sections for their implementation on 3D-printer. Degree of implementation - methods of three-dimensional modeling developed in the thesis were used at the educational process of the National Technical University "KhPI". Area of application - mathematical modeling.
