The dependencies and regularities of structural and technological parameters of box beams on the distribution of stresses, strains and structures in the heat-affected zone of lap joints were investigated. The recommendations devoted to the optimization of the post-weld stress-strain state of lap joints of box beams on the criterion of endurance limit by a favorable combination of structural and technological parameters are presented.
