Melnychenko G. Pollen indicators in the urban ecosystem of Ivano-Frankivsk

This dissertation investigates the taxonomical structure of the aeropalynological spectrum and the bioindication value of pollen from the point of view of dominant natural and anthropogenic factors in urban ecosystem of Ivano-Frankivsk.This study demonstrates the qualitative composition and quantitative dynamics of allergenic pollen in the air of the city during 2013-2015. The research has resulted in compiling the calendars of pollination of allergomodelling plants. The degree of correlation between the content of pollen seeds in the atmospheric air, average daily temperature and the relative humidity of the air have been determined. The increase of morphological heterogeneity, increases in the part of sterile pollen seeds in a pollen crop and the breach in correlation of euchromatin and heterochromatin in pollen kernels of dominant woody plants have been shown.
