Object - current state, features of growth and formation of oak stands of the Velikoanadolsky forest area; the aim - the assessment of the current state, features of growth and formation of the oak stands of the Velikoanadolsky forest area and the development of recommendations for their reproduction; the methods - forestry, forest mensuration, biometrical, mathematical and statistical ones; the novelty - a comprehensive assessment of the climate-regulating and carbon sequestration functions of the forest stands of the Velikoanadolsky forest area were presented; the features of dynamics of typological structure and forest inventory indices of the forest area stands were quantitatively assessed; the current state of the oak stands was estimated; the formation features of artificial oak stands of the area were revealed and the age of their quantitative maturity was determined; the mathematical models for the yield of modal and standard oak stands of the forest area were developed; the results - standards for forestry in the oak stands of the Velikoanadolsky forest area were improved. The justification for growing stable oak stands in the Steppe has been further developed. The developed yield models and ages of quantitative maturity of oak stands contribute to increasing the efficiency of forest management in the stands of the forest area when planning the volumes of intermediate yield and justifying the oak stands growing modes. The results of research and the basic provisions of the dissertation were introduced into forest management and educational activities; the sphere of application - forestry.
