Essay

The objective of study is Upper Jurassic complex built carbonate rocks of the Lopushnia oil field. Subject matter of study is geophysical and petrophysical characteristics of complex built carbonate reservoir rocks, and also the factors that influence the assessment reliability of their oil saturation. The methods of study - statistical data processing of core samples experimental laboratory research and well logging data of producing carbonate rocks in the Jurassic system deposits. The analysis of theoretical and experimental models of producing deposits petrophysical parameters interrelation was carried out. The theoretical modeling of acoustic and radioactive properties of complex built carbonate rock reservoir was conducted. The level of implementation – the methodology of criterion selection of producing carbonate reservoir rocks in the Lopushnia oil field and the evaluation of interstitial structure influence on the results of acoustic logging was offered. The branch of application - geological and geophysical companies engaged in well logging data processing and interpretation.
