The dissertation research is devoted to the solution of the actual scientific and practical problem of increasing the safety of the azimuth propeller-steering column by developing methods and means for creating a computer system for determining the Coanda effect. In this paper, models and methods for developing a computer system for determining the appearance of the Coanda effect in the operation of AGRK for multifunctional offshore platforms have been created, which makes it possible to reduce the accident rate and improve the work of the dynamic positioning system for semisubmersible floating drilling rigs. The difference between the proposed system and the existing mechanical systems lies in the possibility of abandoning the cumbersome mechanical designs that reduce the efficiency of the propulsion complex and reduce the accident rate of their operation.
