Lisova O. The Ukrainian Folklore Studies in Slovakia at the second half of the 20th - 21st centuries.

The thesis makes a comprehensive analysis of the collection, publication and study of Ukrainian folklore of Slovakia in the second half of the XX - XXI centuries. It analyses the state of the source base, examines the degree of knowledge of the problem in the Ukrainian and foreign historiography. Received and introduce into scientific discourse a considerable amount of new empirical evidence, which was ignored or was not disclosed in the previous period of political and other reasons. Emphasis added two main stages of development of the ethnographical research - 40-70-ies of the XX century and 80-ies of the XX - XXI centuries. Characterized the activities of leading researchers in the region, their contribution to the development of Folklore studies. Reviewed publications of Ukrainian folklore in the pages of local periodicals. Investigated a matter of folklore-ethnographic work of Ukrainian organizations.
