Essay

The dissertation is devoted to research of preconditions of establishment, operation features, thresholds status and values of a pluralistic approach to scientific knowledge. The author examines theoretical and methodological principles of understanding the process of updating the idea of pluralism in science. The difficulty and ambiguity of the process is reflected, the same as historical and philosophical origins of the problem and intrascientific pluralism is reconstructed. The author also analyzes the semantic interpretations of diversity and specific consumption concept of "pluralism" in philosophical and methodological discourse. The features of updating pluralistic approach within non-classical rationality are considered. The attempt is made to justify pluralistic interpretation of the principle of subsidiarity. It reveals the important role of pluralistic approach in modern philosophy of science. Pluralism is shown to link with new themes in philosophy of science perspective and pluralistic approach to modern scientific discourse. Internal pluralism correlation with the phenomenon of tolerance is discovered and cognitive-value potential of pluralism in terms of postmodern science is denoted.
