Processes of utilization of associated petroleum gas for gas turbine and gas piston engines. Choice of schemes and justification of the parameters of power plants based on gas turbine and gas piston engines for the production of electricity through the utilization of associated petroleum gas, as well as an analysis of the economic effectiveness of decisions taken. Analysis of the problem of utilization of associated petroleum gas and its use as fuel for power plant engines, mathematical modeling of gas turbine and gas piston internal combustion engines, based on the fundamental theories of the theory of internal combustion engines; The methane number of associated petroleum gas was studied using the Caterpillar methodology, energy analysis methods for evaluating the efficiency of power plants using gas turbine and gas piston internal combustion engines, whose operation is provided by utilization (as a motor fuel) of associated petroleum gas; Modern methods of technical and economic evaluation of the appropriateness of using the proposed power generating stations of oil producing and oil refining enterprises. Quantitative indicators of electric power production by utilization of associated petroleum gas using gas turbine and gas piston internal combustion engines, circuit solutions of power plants and their parameters are obtained. The influence of the ambient temperature on the efficiency of the utilization of power plants of associated petroleum gas, created on the basis of gas turbine and gas piston internal combustion engines, is revealed. The feasibility study of the possibility of using power plants on the basis of power units of gas turbine and gas piston internal combustion engines for utilization of associated petroleum gas and generation of electricity was carried out. For the first time, energy -exercise analysis was used to assess the efficiency of utilization of associated petroleum gas in power plants, including gas turbine and gas piston internal combustion engines. A scheme of power plants is proposed, which includes both a gas turbine and a piston power plant. For the first time, a scientific justification of the potential for electricity generation in the utilization of associated petroleum gas from the oil refinery in the region of Iraq has been carried out according to the proposed scheme. The results of the study will be used in the construction of new power units at Iraq's oil refineries in accordance with letter No. 13/1664 dated March 30, 2017r. Ministry of Industry and Natural Resources. Engine building.
