Essay

Object: Polish agrarian colonization of Halychyna in the interwar period of the XX century. Aim: to analyze comprehensively the main directions, ways and methods of implementing the Polish agrarian policy in Halychyna in 1919-1939, its consequences for the socio-economic development of the region. Methods: analysis, synthesis, typology, chronological, structural-system, logical, statistical, comparative, historical-comparative, historical-system, synchronous, retrospective, periodization. Results: for the first time the state of agriculture in Halychyna was analyzed comprehensively in the context of the agrarian colonization policy of Poland, the dynamics of the colonization of the "Eastern Christs" in the context of the contemporary socio-political processes was determined, the general / specific features of Polish agrarian policy were analyzed through the prism of interethnic relations; the quantitative indicators of the settlers of Halychyna, characteristics of the position of the Ukrainian peasantry of the region in the conditions of Polish colonization policy, methods of studying the transformation in the real land tenure in Halychyna through the application of modern methodological approaches, the principles of studying the "agrarian question" in the programs of Polish and Ukrainian political parties and the activities of governments was improved. Sphere of use: during teaching of special courses in higher educational institutions, preparation of educational-methodical literature and scientific research on problems of socio-economic development of Ukraine and Poland in the XX century, in developing the regional aspects of modern agricultural policy in Ukraine.
