The spectral and protolytic characteristics of the new azolidin derivatives 4-[2-(3-metyl-5-oxo-1-phenyl-1,5-dihydro-4Н-pyrazol-4-ylidene)-hydrazino]-benzensylfonat sodium (PHBS), 5-hydroxyimino-4-imino-1,3-thiazolidin-2-one (HITO) and 4-[N'-(4-imino-2-oxo-thiazolidin-5-ylidene)-hydrazino]-benzenesulfonic acid (ITHBA)) in aqueous solutions for different acidity of the medium was investigated. The optimal conditions for the formation of the complex Pd(II), Pt(IV), Rh(III), Ir(IV) and Ru(IV) with HITO, and Pd(II) with ITHBA were found. The sufficiently sensitive, selective, reliable and simple in execution the methods of spectrophotometric determination of platinoids with HITO and ITHBA, their metrological characteristics were calculated. Also, spectrophotometric methods for the determination of azolidones by their own absorption and HITO and ITHBA by using of Pd(II) ions in a co-presence with PHBS were developed.
