Essay

Thesis is devoted to the problem of increasing the efficiency of paper web drying section in the paper machine by creating automation control system for heating paper web as a major step in terms of product quality, resource and energy effectiveness. First chapter describes drying process as on object of automation control, held its parametric analysis. Conclusion about current state of mathematical modeling and control of drying section. Second chapter contains results of mathematical modeling of heating the paper web process based on the equations of heat and mass transfer, unsteady heat conduction including parameters that based on geometric features of drying section and properties of the paper web. Performed results of the adequacy of the developed model check. In the third chapter was selected criteria optimal control quality and generated restrictions on product quality parameters. Developed the application software solution for calculating the optimal temperature schedule of heating the paper web in real time mode. Fourth part includes developed adaptive control system for optimal of heating paper web process according to the level of perturbation effects in control object using dynamic programming method and PID-controllers with removable off-site control. Presents results of study, which confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed control system in terms of the perturbation of different amount. The developed solutions can be recommended for implementation at the enterprises of the pulp and paper industry in Ukraine and globaly.
