Dementyeva O. Agroecological estimation of water resources for irrigation in conditions of Steppe

The thesis is devoted the results of researches of the irrigation water quality for irrigation in conditions of Steppe of Ukraine. It has been established that the water of Ingulets irrigation system had a low level of quality according to DSTU 2730-94. The Krasnoznamenskaya irrigation system, the water source of which has been the Dnieper river was suitable for irrigation of all crops. Sink -drainage wastes of the Rice system have had a significantly poorer quality indicators in comparison with the Dnieper water. The appropriateness of the mix of the Dnieper water with the sink-drainage wastes in the rice checks in the new ratio (Dnieper water - 75% + sink-drainage wastes - 25%). Results of field experiments indicate the possibility of growing corn and rice on dark chestnut soils under conditions of irrigation water that was studied. Even economically viable grain yield and its quality meets modern requirements.
