Essay

The actual scientific task which consists in improving the method of active queue management to improve the quality and reliability of TCP / IP network services with the use of REM regulators was solved In the dissertation. The active queue method of packets routing has been improved. Unlike the current REM technique, DSREM has the best value for stability of the algorithm, packet handling and interoperability in the queue of the router due to newly introduced scale factors and stability factors. For the first time, statistical models for forecasting the amount of rejected and lost packets for TCP/IP network using DSREM algorithm were developed which allows to predict possible data losses when the system is overloading. It has been proposed the structural scheme of the controller of the router's queue which includes a new management algorithm for the DSREM-methodology with improved control system characteristics.
